This name pretty much speaks for itself: God promised land to His people. Seems pretty straightforward, however, the Hebrews made it much more difficult than it needed to be. All they had to do was remain faithful, just as they were in slavery. You would think it would be easier to do outside of slavery than while in bondage, but we sometimes forget about God and all He's done for us when things are going well. For the Israelites, it meant they would wander in the wilderness for an additional 40 years before they would reach the Promised Land. All because of distractions and lack of faith. 
 
Do you ever find life going well for you then all of a sudden, you feel lost? Have you lost connection with God? Turn back to Him. Let Him navigate you back towards the path of His promised land for you.
